Description

A node is an OpenVMS node. Each node is a boot or satellite member of a cluster. By default, single node clusters have a cluster name the same as the node name. Applicable management tasks at a network level include add, create, delete, modify, remove, rename and report.

This meta object is used to normalize the OpenVMS username information from the application environment, group and user meta objects. This is primarily done so that duplicates are not defined, i.e. application environments, groups and users must have unique names and a common interface to the system authorization file (SYSUAF).
