A user may be considered to be either personal or positional. Users are granted access to application environments, groups and system users classes.
A user meta object has an associated OpenVMS username meta object.
One of the attribuutes of a user is a UIC of the form [1000,user-member] for non business based users, or [business-group,user-member] for business based users.
Another attribute is the value of an identifier with a name of the form U_user which is used for access to the users areas when the user uses an application which changes UIC's.
